Update on Paint Chipping Issue:
I called Marucci and talked to a representative about the paint chipping and was told that this was normal with their bats and that they do not offer any warranty for this problem because it does not hurt the performance of the bat. I did witness a Cat 7 crack into two pieces last year and Marucci was quick to send a warranty replacement for that problem.
Biggie P used Marucci’s Cat 8 for the fall baseball season and loved almost everything about it.
