I grew up using wood bats almost exclusively….I broke a bat every three YEARS, give or take. I learned early on how to use a wood bat CORRECTLY so that I wasn’t breaking one every two or three months. players these days don’t learn that because their coaches are ignorant of how to use one correctly.
